Yealink T4 Series Desktop Phones
Before you begin:
Ensure that you have your Cybertel myCloudPBX extension number authentication credentials: Username – Password – Server Host URL
Log in to the phone:
You will need the phone’s IPV4 address. To retrieve the IPV4, press the OK button on the face of the phone, this will open the Status screen. The first item is the IPV4 address, it will look something like this: 162.168.1.114
Enter this address into the URL locator of your preferred web browser, Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc. and search.
This will take you to the phone’s login window. The default username and password are: admin / admin
Once you are logged in, click on the Account tab and then the Register tab.
Enter your Cybertel myCloudPBX credentials:
- Set Line Active to ON
- Enter a Label. This configures the label to be displayed on the LCD screen for this extension. We recommend using the extension number followed by the extension owner’s name, eg. 100 Mary or 101 Reception etc.
- Enter a Display Name. This is the extension owner’s name, eg. Mary or Reception etc.
- Enter your Register Name. This is your Cybertel myCloudPBX username. Note: this is a critical field and must be exactly as provided by Cybertel.
- Enter your Username. This is your extension number, which is also your username. Note: this is a critical field and must be exactly as provided by Cybertel.
- Enter your Password. This is your Cybertel myCloudPBX password. Note: this is a critical field and must be exactly as provided by Cybertel.
- Enter your Server Host URL. Note: this is a critical field and must be exactly as provided by Cybertel.
- Set Transport to TCP.
- Hit the Confirm button, the handset will show Registered in the Register Status at the top of the page.
Set Voicemail access number:
- Whilst on the Account tab, select Advanced.
- Enter the voicemail access number 777, in the Voice Mail field (about one-third of the way down).
- Hit the Confirm button.
Set SIP conditions:
- Go to the Features tab, and select General Information.
- Set Accept SIP Trust Server Only to Enable (ninth from the bottom).
- Set Allow IP Call to Disabled (eighth from the bottom).
- Hit the Confirm button.
Set Time and Date:
- Go to the Settings tab, and select Time&Date.
- Set DHCP Time to Disabled.
- Set Manual Time to Disabled.
- Set Time Zone to your city/region, eg, Brisbane is +10.
- Set Daylight Saving Time to Disabled.
- Set Primary Server to au.pool.ntp.org
- Set Secondary Server to ntp.mycloudpbx.com.au
- Set Time Format to your preferred format, 12 or 24 hours.
- Hit the Confirm button.
