Email Setup – All Devices
This article assumes you have a Cybertel hosted email address.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following information for your Cybertel hosted email account:
1. Username (Your full email address)
2. Password
Internet on your device must be set up before you start this guide.
Android setup can differ depending on the phone, we recommend searching the manufacturer’s support articles for email setup instructions for your specific device e.g. Samsung S9 Email Setup
The following email account settings are for MS Outlook setup, however, the settings/ports are the same for any PC/MAC/Device.
Our Support Team recommend using the Outlook App on Android and iPhone, which is free.
Email Account Settings:
Incoming Mail Server/Hostname: yourdomain.com.au (that is, the part of your email address after the @ symbol)
Outgoing Mail Server/Hostname: yourdomain.com.au
Note: “mail.” prefix is NOT required
Account Login Information:
Username: Full Email Address
Password: The password you set, check with Cybertel if unsure
Detailed Settings for Incoming Mail (IMAP/POP):
More Settings > Advanced >
Incoming server port (IMAP): 993
Incoming server port (POP3): 995
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS
Detailed Settings for Outgoing Mail:
More Settings > Outgoing Server > My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: Ticked
More Settings > Advanced > Outgoing server port: 465
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS
or
More Settings > Advanced > Outgoing server port: 587
